New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church has served the La Grange and Fayette County community for generations — a congregation rooted in prayer, sound Bible teaching, and hospitality. Our history was built by faithful families who gave, sang, taught, and served so that the Gospel would keep going forward in this place.
Today we remain a multi-generational church, from our youngest children in Sunday School to our senior saints — seeking souls for Jesus Christ and caring for our neighbors in tangible ways.

Our Vision
1 John 4:7
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God — every song, every sermon, every act of service.
Matthew 22:37-39
Love the Lord your God with all your heart — and love your neighbor as yourself, right here in our community.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness.” (NASB) — reverent and relevant teaching geared toward spiritual maturity for every generation.
Our Mission
Our mission is to follow the Word of God and the teaching of Jesus Christ, by loving God and loving our neighbors and to "make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (NASB)
Matthew 22:37-39 · Matthew 28:18-20

Our Pastor
Under Pastor Zachary's leadership since 2006, the ministry at New Bethel MBC has focused on seeking souls for Jesus Christ through reverent and relevant teaching geared toward spiritual maturity — by loving God and loving our neighbors.
Pastor Zachary is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Christian Education (MA/CE), a recipient of the Graduate Teachers Diploma from the Evangelical Training Association, and a PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator.
"Loving God and loving our neighbors — in reverence and in relevance."
What We Believe
We believe the Bible is the inspired written Word of God as “all Scripture is given by inspiration of God,” and we believe the Bible is without error (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).
We believe that the Godhead exists eternally in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — and that these three are one God (Matt. 28:18-19; John 1:14).
We believe God sent our Lord Jesus Christ into the world to save sinners, and that no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born again through faith in Jesus Christ, and that we are redeemed by His blood (John 3:1-18; Eph. 1:7; Rev. 1:4-6).
We believe Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, became the sacrificial Lamb, died for our sins, rose bodily on the third day, ascended, sits at the Father’s right hand, is head of the church, and intercedes for believers (Romans 3:25-26; Hebrews 10:5-14; 1 Peter 3:18; Ephesians 1:22-23; 1 John 2:1).
We believe salvation is accomplished through faith in Jesus Christ and not by good works, baptism, church membership, or any efforts of man (John 1:12; 3:16-18; 5:24; Romans 1:16-17; Galatians 3:22).
We believe all who are born again by the Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ, once saved shall be saved forever; our holy and righteous Father corrects His children in love and will present them faultless before His glory, conformed to the image of His Son (John 5:24; 10:28; 14:16-17; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Hebrews 7:25; 1 John 2:1-2; Jude 24).
We believe our Lord Jesus Christ will return at the climax of the great tribulation to introduce the millennial age. At death the spirits and souls of those who have trusted Christ pass immediately into His presence in conscious blessedness until the resurrection of the glorified body, when Christ comes for His own, whereby the soul and body will be reunited and be with Christ forever in glory. Unbelievers will remain after death conscious of condemnation and in misery until the final judgment at the great white throne (2 Corinthians 5:8; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Luke 16:19-26; 2 Thess. 1:7-9; Revelation 20:1-3, 11-15).
